BaySierra Financial, Inc. (BSF) is a full service real estate finance company serving the greater San Francisco Bay area and all of Northern California. BSF offers real estate loans secured by all types of real estate: commercial, retail, apartments, residential properties; land, land for development, agricultural properties; and special purpose properties. BSF has available a variety of institutional lenders from around the nation and a large group of private lenders available when the institutional lenders cannot or will not make a loan.

Established in 2000 by John and Pamela Graziano, as the successor to Triad Mortgage, Inc., BSF under their leadership offers both borrowers and lenders extensive lending experience in all aspects of real estate lending.

BSF is approved with banks and financial institutions in local markets, as well as lenders across the nation, to bring borrowers the most competitive loan programs available by its lenders.

In addition to traditional mortgage lending, BSF has a portfolio of over $75,000,000 with private loans underwritten and serviced by BSF. Borrowers can take advantage of BSF ability to attract private lender capital to fund real estate loans for borrowers in the most difficult situations. Although the rates, terms and fees are higher than traditional lenders, it is a source of capital when institutional lenders, for whatever reason, are unable to lend. For our developer clientele, private lending serves as an alternative to acquiring a partner.

Private lenders have two ways to invest their capital, either directly in a individual Note secured by a Deed of Trust or indirectly in the BaySierra Mortgage Fund, LLC. (the Fund). Individual Notes typically yield 10 to 11 percent (%) net to the lender with interest paid monthly.

Membership interests in the Fund are offered pursuant to a permit issued by the California Department of Corporations qualifying such interests and may be purchased by residents of California who meet certain income and net worth requirements. Although the Fund’s yield is lower than individual loans, it offers the diversity by holding interest in a cross-section of Notes, across many property types and locations around Northern California.
